Guggenheim Bilbao

We drove from Santillana del Mar to Bilbao, which was about 1 hour away. Bilbao is where the second (or is it third?) Guggenheim Museum is located. The other is in New York City. I was confused because Frank Gehry, the architect of Guggenheim Bilbao, is also the architect who designed the concert hall in Los Angeles.
It is a modern art museum, as exemplified by the gigantic spider located at the entrace, which is carrying a sac of eggs. Modern art isn't my favorite. The architecture is truly magnificent, though, which made our visit worthy of buying a souvenir t-shirt (to be modeled on a later entry).
Please enjoy some of the contraband photos. It was only later I put together you're really not supposed to take pictures in a museum. Art Culture 101.
