Welcome to Musee de Orsay!

This is the Musee de Orsay, home of many impressionists artwork. I was given excellent advice by Jennifer and Tanya to check out this museum before going to the Louvre. I'm so glad I did. I spent Sunday afternoon discovering art.

Musee de Orsay used to be a train station. Now that you know, doesn't it kind of look like one?

Here is a view that I discovered while enjoying my afternoon snack. Do you see Basilique de Sacre Coeur off in the distance?

To give perspective of the vast and ornate space, I took pictures of the ballroom. FYI - I kept most of my photos G-rated, but the following are more PG-13.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Art in the purest of forms, thankyou for sharing.
