While in Jordan, we had dinner at the Bel Mondo Café. It was there I decided I just HAD to try what they called Hubbly Bubbly aka Huka aka Shisha. I’ve never smoked anything in my life up to this point. Why not try it the Middle Eastern way? Melissa suggested I wait until we arrive in Syria. It would be a bit more authentic that way. 
In Damascus, we went up the mountain and enjoyed dinner overlooking the city. What a perfect place for some Hubbly Bubbly.

Did smoking the hubbly bubbly make you feel anything? Light-headed, high, etc?
I noticed in all your pictures that you are in long sleeves, yet it should be hot there. Is this is deference to the culture or is it chilly?
